Our first sounds in life are the heartbeats of our mothers. And rhythm continues to affect every moment of our lives without us even realizing it! The ebb and flow of the tides, every day, every night, every month, every year dances to the rhythm of balance. Each breath and each heartbeat envelopes us in rhythm.
Please join us Sat., Feb., 20 • 5-7 pm for our next DRUM CIRCLE!
No experience necessary...
Instruments will be provided, but if you have your own percussion instrument, please bring it!
It's an honor to have our Drum Circle facilitated by local artist and musician Rishigun Olomidun, who received his Masters in Art from Columbia College, Chicago, in 2001.
We'll be collecting a "Love Donation" of whatever you can give. Profits will be donated to the Benedict Civic Club of Petersburg, a wonderful local organization that services the youth and elderly of this area.
